I had a Golf ladies away weekend Sunday to Monday in September. We had a great time the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we had in the evening was very good too. We had two rounds of golf which we all enjoyed too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thankyou

Looking at reviews if didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised how nice modern and clean our room was, I can only guess it has had a recent renovation. Huge walk in shower and modern bathroom and the room was modern and very clean. If you have stayed in other budget hotels it is better and the included breakfast was very good. I will definitely stay here again.

Not too bad of a hotel - tiny rooms, but big bed. My room was ridiculously hot, and there's no air conditioning - but thankfully the windows open fully. Shame about the lack of black-out curtains with a street lamp right outside the window. My room had a dodgy electrical connection on the shelf about the drinks area - just wrapped in tape, so mind your fingers if you're getting down the additional pillows. There's sockets next to the bed - something that can't be relied upon even in this day and age. The bathroom facilities are good - large powerful shower and didn't need to remove a flow restricter as you usually would in a budget hotel. Toilets are really close to the wall - odd for the size of the room. The towels provided had blood stains and suspicious brown marks on them. As others have mentioned, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything. The on-site catering at the gravel pit is awful, pop down the road if you want something to eat.

We stayed at the Drift Inn two weeks ago. Had actually booked to stay at one of the other hotels on the site but they changed our accommodation to Drift Inn. The room was small but functional. This weekend we are staying at the Willow Training Centre at Wyboston. The staff are a lot friendlier and approachable than those at Drift Inn. We decided to go to the cafe/bar at Drift Inn this evening. The food was actually very nice with a good choice on the menu. The staff however let them down. We hadn’t made an appointment and as we walked in and ordered a drink, we overheard one of the male staff members ask the other guy on the bar and two female staff members (one blonde and one dark haired) if we were walk ins. After confirming we were he then swore. The group were smug and smirking and made us feel unwelcome and uncomfortable. My husband actually called the guy out on what he had said and he did apologise, however our evening was ruined. I work in retail and understand how important customer service is. These four young people need some serious customer service training!

I don’t usually write reviews, but my experience at this so-called “resort” was so unbelievably bad that I feel a moral obligation to warn others before they suffer the same fate. If you’re considering staying here, don’t. Sleep in your car, camp in the woods, or just stay home, any of those would be a luxury compared to what I endured. The room itself was the first punch to the gut. There was no fridge, no microwave, nothing. Just a tiny desk, two lamps, and an old TV that doesn’t even have Netflix or YouTube. the walls were so thin I could hear every conversation in the hallway. Now let’s talk about the facilities, which were the reason I chose this hotel in the first place. The website proudly advertised a “beautiful outdoor pool open until late evening.” Reality check: the pool closed every night at 7:00 PM sharp and the one stated on website wasn’t even available, right when most guests would actually want to use it. When I asked why, the staff shrugged and said, “That’s just the rule.” Then there was the restaurant, which was honestly the worst part of all. You don’t have any options to choose from and it’s expensive, almost a scam given the price of this hotel. By the end of my stay, I was counting down the hours until I could leave. In summary: If you like tiny rooms, bad food, early pool/gym closures, and a staff that seems allergic to customer service, this is your dream destination. For everyone else, I beg you, do not waste your money. Final verdict: 1/5 stars (and that’s only because zero isn’t an option). I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to my worst enemy.
