Trunkwell House Victorian Country House and its magnificent marquees offer one of the best events venues in the Thames Valley and together with our many years of experience we have everything to make your perfect day. The Marquee is set in beautiful manicured gardens overlooking 34 acres of beautiful Berkshire countryside.

This unique venue has been designed to create magical ambience and quality cuisine that is synonymous with Trunkwell House. The Marquee can cater for from 80-350 people in style and we can offer help and advice in creating and organising the perfect event for you. Looking for something bigger? Trunkwell House was the perfect venue for my sisters’ wedding in June. They have a lovely indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful and well kept. Rene the GM, is incredible. So attentive, caring and thinks ahead. He really makes your big day special. I couldn’t say enough about him. He genuinely cares. However, the admin staff have room for improvement and could do from learning from Rene. They are slow to reply and often reply with ‘I don’t know’ instead of being proactive. Despite this, still giving 5 stars because Rene was always happy to step in, solve problems and make sure you have everything you need. He’s passionate about keeping the venue in perfect shape and it shows. Would highly recommend this venue.

I attended Trunkwell House as part of the wedding suppliers for Berkshire Wedding Fairs in September 2025. The drive up to the house is lovely, lots of green land surrounding the house, stunning views. Greeted with a prosecco or orange juice, the lovely bride and grooms to be wert able to view the hotel rooms, where the reception would held, was connecting with the suppliers that would be able to enhance their wedding day with all the different services able. Weather was a bit bit and miss but the large marquee that extended from the main building kept us all dry and warm, with the added bonus of the bar inside. It was a great day and we met lots of other vendors that we could work in collaboration with in the future
