The UK's only artist-led cabaret, built and run by performers and technicians working at the top of UK production, from the country's best cabaret rooms to the Brit Awards and international specialist events.

A landmark 1892 Grade II listed building crowned by a 7.5m copper Indo-Saracenic dome in the heart of Kemptown, Brighton. Licensed seven days a week until 2am. 120 seated, 220 standing.

The only venue in Brighton with a full aerial rig, high-spec winch and specialist performer flying system, installed by technicians whose credits include The Greatest Showman. Our cocktail team came from The Box in London and brought Babel Brighton to life, with a speciality cocktail list you won't find anywhere else in the city.

How hire works:

- Show Hire: a private performance of our in-house production, or a custom-built show. Any night. From £8,800.
- Venue Hire: the full room with bar service and our own staff, for corporate evenings, Christmas parties, launches, milestone birthdays and hen parties. Sunday to Thursday. From £1,000.
- Film and Photography: location hire, Sunday to Thursday. From £375.
- Group Bookings: gallery balcony (25 to 30) or full downstairs (up to 80) within public Friday and Saturday shows.

Tech and facilities: Martin Audio sound, Allen & Heath digital mixer, ChamSys lighting with moving beams and LED bars, performer flying system with in-house IRATA rigger, custom stage with retractable spinning pole, projector and screen, dedicated cocktail bar, hosted bar tabs from £35 per guest, external catering permitted, kitchen reopening winter 2026.

Two of London's leading show directors own and run Madam Lola's. Client list includes The Box, Cirque le Soir, the Brit Awards and Studio 338.

Location hire of one of the most distinctive period interiors on the south coast: an 1892 Grade II listed rotunda crowned by a 7.5m copper Indo-Saracenic dome in the heart of Kemptown, Brighton, five minutes from the seafront. Velvet booths, gilded balconies, a full cabaret stage and a dedicated cocktail bar, unlike anything else available to shoot in the city.

Available Sunday to Thursday, subject to programming. Friday and Saturday are show nights and are not available for shoots.

Rates (ex VAT): Photography £375 half day (up to 5 hours) or £750 full day (up to 10 hours). Filming £2,000 per 12 hour day for independent and small productions, overtime £250 per hour, prep and wrap days at half rate. Major productions and brand activations quoted individually on application with production details.

In the room: Martin Audio PA and Allen & Heath digital mixer, ChamSys lighting with Robe moving beams, Ovation LED bars and LED tape throughout, full truss system rated for flying performers with ActSafe powered winch, in-house IRATA certified rigger for camera, lighting and aerial work, custom stage with retractable spinning pole, projector and TV screen. Flexible layouts from full cabaret configuration to cleared open floor.

Our cast, aerialists and fire performers can be booked to appear in your production through our in house team, quoted per project.

Practical: street level load in from St George's Road, back of house available as production space, unit base by arrangement, duty manager on site for every hire, power specifications and floor plans on request. All productions must hold public liability insurance; risk assessments required for stunt, aerial or fire work, supported by our rigger. Please note our toilets are not wheelchair accessible due to the listed building's layout.
