Maison Bleue

Had a trip to Edinburgh for a week and only came here as we walked by and seen an advertisement for take away haggis, never had haggis before so thought we would try it and so glad we did!!! The haggis was delicious and even my children enjoyed it, even had a cheeky drink. We enjoyed it that much that we returned the next day for dinner, the food, portion size, atmosphere and price was amazing!!! The starters and sides would have been good enough as a main meal the portion size was that good. Had mussels that were delicious. Staff were amazing and so accommodating with us being there with 4 children (one being a 4 month old) Will 100% be returning next time we come to Edinburgh

We came here on the 18th November for my Daughter's 18th Birthday and glad we did. Alejandro and the other staff were very attentive, we got a lovely window seat which felt cosy and atmospheric as it was dark and rainy outside. The décor inside and out was very Christmasy with a nice lit candle on the table and the lighting was just right. The goats cheese starter was one of the best I've had, was on par with a delicious goats cheese starter I had from Cafe St Honore a while ago. We all had 3 course with some wine and a cocktail. The staff were just wonderful and gave my Daughter a surprise at the end; she told me she had a lovely time which made my day. Will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for a lovely experience on my Daughter's 18th.
