Bw Premier Yew Lodge Hotel, Syndicate Room 4

Spent 2 days and 3 nights. The hotel has been refurbished and its looking great. The main point of this review is the staff, from Reception when checking in and out, bar staff and restaurant staff. Im not sure if Joana is the manager/supervisor but nothing was too much trouble for her and the team. All the staff were brilliant and worked tirelessly to make sure out event went smoothly and without any issues. Brilliant team

We had a really comfortable stay here last weekend. Harry was very polite & helpful serving us our food in the evening, he was just as lovely the next morning, bright & early! Nothing was too much trouble. We'd definitely recommend & will use this hotel again, next time remembering swimwear for the pool, sauna & steam room!

Generally a good hotel with some friendly and attentive staff - with exceptions! Rooms were clean and room aircon was functioning although the thermostat was limited. Had an issue with the evening meal staff…went in and was greeted by a friendly staff member. I was the only table/person at that point. Limited vegetarian options so ended up with just a margarita pizza and fries. The pizza was bland. During the meal, a 2nd staff member joined the other staff member at the entrance desk with a pint of soft drink which she sipped throughout. After the meal asked for a desert menu and received it. Waited over 10mins for someone to come and take the order. There were 3 waiting staff dealing with 3 tables and the 2 staff at the entrance desk. When no one came, I got up to go to the desk to pay and the lady with the soft drink walked towards me and said “oh I was just coming with a desert menu”. When the entire hotel restaurant has 3-4 tables, I wouldn’t expect this level of service.
