Superb central location (really close to the cavern club) the whole hotel has a really good Beatles theme, it's an upmarket hotel. The bed was larger than a super king sized bed & was very comfortable. Staff are friendly. Ventilation in our room could have been better, no opening windows & weak air conditioning. Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

From the moment my wife and I arrived we were greeted with smiles by the very friendly and welcoming staff. The room was somewhat bland but spacious and accommodating. Our favorite was the bar! Live music, great atmosphere and cocktails crafted by one of the better bartenders I’ve met, assisted by two others that made our evenings most enjoyable! Thank you Jack, Georgia and Naoise for a great experience!

Stayed here for 2 nights. Very disappointed. It’s supposed to be a 4* hotel. I would rate it 3*. Overpriced for what we got. No heating in hotel. Some of us had to request a heater and extra duvet. Breakfast was a disaster. For a 4•hotel I would expect cups, saucers and pot of tea at table. Instead had to fill a mug with teabag and hot water. Poor selection on buffet. Ran out of mugs, plates, bread. Long wait to be refilled. Asked if I could have an omelette/poached egg but not available. Requested marmalade but was told it was not delivered. Only good thing is its location. We thought we were staying in a luxury hotel but it didn’t live up to it.

The location is brilliant. The staff were great. The reason for three stars on service was not the staff but the food. The breakfast was terrible, give it a miss. We went for breakfast about half nine, the breakfast stops serving at ten. I would expect the same standard of food no matter what the time. The scrambled eggs were terrible, if you threw them on the floor they’d bounce back on your plate, selections were running out. Just not good enough for a four star hotel. Don’t get me wrong the room was spotless and the service was great and I’ll be back but I wouldn’t have a meal there, we had an evening meal and we ordered the steak platter, the steak was cold and under cooked for what we requested. This was about nine o clock and they just served a coach party but surely paying guest should be served with the same standards as a big party. Mind you I don’t know if they had the same standard of food.

Mixed bag. Beds were very uncomfortable with no padding on mattress. Pillows were flat. Towels and bedding were thin and not soft. We had a king bed which was two twin beds pushed together. The shower in our first room was incredibly small making it impossible to bend our legs and/or bend at the waist to wash. I would equate the size to what you might have in a camper van. Our first room was a “deluxe” balcony room and the noise from live music on Mathew St. was simply unbearable and went on until 0200. I will say that the front desk manager tried to be accommodating but could not move us into a new room until the second night. The second room was quieter but the music was still heard. If staying here I would say your best bet would be to request a room as far from Mathew St side of hotel as possible unless you plan on being out all night. The breakfast is all self-service and lackluster. Canned fruit and very limited options in general. We tried the breakfast one day but ended up at the McDonalds around the corner. Elevators are slow and tiny. With two people and two pieces of luggage the elevator was at capacity. There was a bartender from the Belfast area on Saturday night. I did not get his name but he was very friendly and helpful. Likewise the front desk manager we dealt with was also making an effort to be helpful which was appreciated. If you’re looking for a hotel close to the nightlife and shopping, and need a lot of Beatles pictures, this might be your place. If you want to relax and rest comfortably this hotel would not be your best bet. Out travel agent booked this property and I’m not sure of the cost per night, but I would say it is a budget level hotel at best.
