All of our rooms enjoy natural daylight from floor to ceiling windows, black-out blinds for presentations, and sensory features such as walls of silver birch trees or a large scarlet circular table.
Each room is named after a fictional spy from British film or TV, and contains a collection of the spy curiosities (fencing masks, chemistry sets, crossbows and black boxes) to match. South Place hotel can become your personal playground, where you and your guests can eat, drink and be merry.
Featuring classic, neutral décor, these versatile spaces are the perfect blank canvas for your unique vision. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with natural light, highlighting the elegant dark wood paneling and creating a warm, inviting ambiance. The combination of polished wooden floors & delicate cream organza curtains sets the stage for a sophisticated dining experience. Purdey & Steed can comfortably host up to 100 guests for a seated dinner or ceremony, and up to 150 for a standing reception.

We had our wedding here and it was truly the most wonderful stay of our lives. Everyone was so wonderful and lovely throughout our stay, and we're so helpful to not just my wife and I, but also to our family and friends. Everyone said that they have had the best time, and our vendors felt everything was smooth on their side when it came to set up or knowing where to go for photos and videos. We came here as paying customers initially before the wedding to see what the food was like, and I did feel ill, however feeding back to the hotel and to our events coordinator, they were apologetic but also mentioned that they will be better. And yes did they do that with the wedding as the food was brilliant across the wedding breakfast, but also breakfast the next day (which I was nervous initially but came out very happy as it seems like there are new chefs working in what is now the Bluebird), and everyone went out of their way to help us when it came to leaving the hotel. We would definitely want to come back to celebrate our anniversary with South Place Hotel, and everything was just perfect. The only issue we had was that the B&O TVs were hard to use.

Stayed at South Place Hotel and was genuinely impressed. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed witb good wifi and making it a comfortable base for London. Location is spot-on—just steps from the Liverpool street station you are basically connected to all parts of the city and the suburbs., plus some great restaurants at the hotel and some good ones within walking distance. For shopping, leisure and other spots its a great location . But what really stood out was the team’s warm, smiling service every single day.
