Lovely place! Might not worth 16 pounds, but we went there during the Wetland Day when it's free. Really like the lakes and the bird watching places, I feel like I could just sit there for the whole day watching birds!

Mainly visited as we get a free ticket via Boundless. Enjoyed the hides and the enthusiasm from the helpers. Glad we brought our binoculars as it was great to learn some identification skills. Good in the cafe was good. Baked potatoes so can't go wrong.

A lovely Boxing Day trip out, would recommend as a trip out! Would like to go in a different season to see how it’s different, but overall a lovely walk. Definitely recommend seeing the otter feeding at 11am or 2pm - so time your trip with this in mind. Free parking when you attend, lovely cafe and gift shop.

Wonderful venue near Barnes. An oasis of calm, apart from the endless flights to Heathrow. But they don’t spoil the tranquility of the place if you just ignore them. Great for children. And bird and insect spotting. Lovely walks, play areas for children, otter talks by the absolutely lovely Otter keeper, Magda** (who is so sweet that she even gave an Otter book to me and my children on Father’s Day 2025), and very well equipped hides. A wonderful place to visit at any time of the year but especially Spring and Autumn. **My kids and I last went there on 14 February 2026 to see Magda but sadly she was not working that day. Hope she is still working there because she is a total asset to the place. As are the lovely ladies who I think helped my children plant some plants as part of a Mud themed day. Just a totally wonderful place that is refreshingly free of tech and “rides”. Children pastimes are wholesome and educational not techy or rip off. The first time I visited, it was a no brainer price wise to take out a family membership and I am so glad I did. 2 parents and up to 6 kids can enter. And there are others WWT venues around the country. The shop is excellent too and the little restaurant is OK albeit inevitably pricey. We tend to take packed lunch and enjoy it on the terrace by the restaurant. Love the place. My kids love it too. Very few tourists seem to know about the place I think. Which is kind of a bonus as it would be overrun if people knew how good it is.

Saw a wonderful array of waterfowl with great trails and lots of habitats to see. The otter talk was very interesting. Especially with Bob the Heron waiting for fishy leftovers! Yummy fish and chips in the cafe for hungry humans. Good facilities and very family friendly. Would come back again
