I was amazed at the diversity of species present in this space. A beautiful environment that we spent 4 hours exploring. The staff were friendly and informative. We got to see the otter-feeding with lots of information from the park ranger. The bird hides are plentiful and provide beautiful scenery. It was nice to be around the peaceful birdspotters who were enjoying their day. Lots of information about the various ducks, herons, storks, birds and other wildlife like dragonflies etc, and I now know a few more common names of those! I didn't expect much from the south path, but it was really fun with a few bridges and obstacle paths (that are optional) that my 73 yr old mother managed too. And a ton of amazing flowers, trees and other plants! A very peaceful place to be immersed in wetland nature while you get to witness the natural behaviours of various bird species. Lovely. Thank you!

Must visit my 11 Yr old loved ticking off all the birds she spotted. Peaceful quiet day out. Top tip start early, take a packed lunch as you could easily spend the whole day here.

Such a lovely place... beautiful spots to see all kinds of wildlife including a wide variety of birds, insects and pondlife - very peaceful and all of the staff were really friendly and lovely to talk to. I enjoyed using the birding telescopes to see the lakes right up close, it was amazing how much you can see! It was lovely to spend the day watching the lakes from the hides, walking around and learning about the purposes of wetlands, and Peter Scott, the founder of the site. The otter talk was lovely, I'd recommend trying to catch one during the day and exploring both routes (the south route was nice and quiet in the morning, and I caught the 2pm Otter talk on the other side.) I spent about 5 and a half hours here and I wasn't ever bored. I went during Dragonfly festival and it was exciting to see the art installations around the site, and see plenty of them around the lakes and ponds - the activities are well incorporated into the site and I'm sure would be fun for all ages. I'd definitely come back again!

Great place to visit alone or with the kids. Very spacious so you cannot feel any crowd and great species to observe. My favorite are the whistling ducks. So cute. Of course one of the hit are the otters too who granted us a nice display or swimming and play for a good 30min.
