About Venue
The Dark Horse Camden is a lively events pub and restaurant set within the iconic Camden Stables Market. Housed in a Grade-1 listed stable with Victorian brickwork and vintage character, it combines the charm of a traditional pub with the energy of a modern event space. From after-work socials to milestone birthdays and weddings, this venue has a style and atmosphere that really stand out.
The space is incredibly versatile, working just as well for private dining and corporate dinners as it does for large celebrations, festive parties, or late-night events. Weddings and engagement parties gain an intimate yet vibrant backdrop, while company away days or networking evenings benefit from flexible layouts and great catering options.
What makes The Dark Horse Camden special is the mix of premium food and drink with a true Camden party spirit. The in-house kitchen serves British favourites with seasonal touches, alongside cocktails, craft beer, and cask ales. At night the vibe shifts, with DJs and live sets turning the venue into one of Camden’s most exciting spots for dancing and socialising. With tailored packages and a dedicated team, organisers can create an event that feels easy to plan and unforgettable to attend.
Located just a short walk from Chalk Farm station, the venue is simple to reach and also offers on-site parking for added convenience. Guests can enjoy the buzz of Camden Market right on the doorstep, making it an even more memorable choice.

Lovely dinner with my family, fish and chips was amazing! Burgers excellent too! The wings have a nice little kick to them!

My partner and I had Sunday lunch. Cozy atmosphere. The service was fantastic, very attentive, all recommendations were excellent. We ordered Welsh Rarebit Crumpets, Hereford Beef Sirloin and for dessert Blood orange bread & butter pudding. Simply amazing.

Great place for drinks and some food but my experience with one of their burgers was okay. The patty tasted great but the salad specially the tomato wasn't fresh at all which gave the burger a different taste. Other than that, service is great and drinks are great too! Would visit again but won't be having another burger.

I came here with a friend on a Sunday. The service was fantastic, very attentive. The space was airy and inviting and had a good drink selection and cocktail menu at fair prices. The potions were very generous and roasts specifically were super tasty. The Yorkshire puddings had a homemade feel to them. I’d really recommend.

Had a couple of cocktails here on a sunny Friday afternoon. It had changed ownership or name since the last time we had visited. Seating is now much better in my opinion, with very comfy seats, but the cocktails didn't hit the mark as last time. Service was good, on the pricey side but this is still a great setting and very much worth a visit.
