About Venue

Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is housed in an eco-friendly floating pavilion in a new riverside neighbourhood in Canary Wharf. Gently rising and falling with the tide, the main restaurant at dock-level is joined by a 120-seat waterside bar. Hawksmoor Bar includes a terrace with views across the water, which is suitable for dining and events.

The menu revolves around the best British produce the country has to offer with grass-fed dry-aged ethically reared beef, sustainable seafood and produce.

Hawksmoor Bar at Wood Wharf is the largest venue we have. It comes with its own heated waterside terrace, too. But what’s unique is that it offers the same à la carte dining experience as the restaurant upstairs – just in a more casual environment.


A lively atmosphere and quality drinks are a given, though: our wine and cocktail menus speak to everyone from post-work sippers to a weekend crowd looking for a proper night out.


The bar hits a high note with events. There’s space for up to 250/340 (winter/summer) people for exclusive-use drinks receptions and networking events. Or our semi-private spaces are great for after work gatherings, networking, all day delegate events, parties and special celebrations, with space for 160 people.

For seated group-dining experiences it’s 90 guests max for an exclusive hire or 60 for a semi private area.

Hawksmoor Bar at Wood Wharf is our love note to event organisers. It’s the only venue in the Hawksmoor stable to offer drinks receptions, canapé soirées, networking events and summer parties – in essence, any standing do. For events of up to 250 (winter) 330 (summer) people and 90 guests seated, Hawksmoor Bar Wood Wharf can be hired out on an exclusive hire basis for a standing party. The only Hawksmoor with two floor, Wood Wharf has the spaces, packages and staff to make your event a success.

Our whole Waterview section with terrace hosts standing events for up to 160 people year round. It’s heated, with comfortable seating, its own sound system and dramatic views of Canary Wharf.

The venue can host live bands or DJs and we our designated event manager will assist you with your event from day one until the end.
