About Venue

Mayfair’s family-owned Athenaeum Hotel prides itself on five-star luxury delivered with a personal warmth. The hotel’s boutique feel belies the number of bedrooms, and its established brand of elegant homeliness runs through to three subtly decorated meeting rooms, all providing abundant natural light. The largest of these, Hyde Park, works well for dinners and drinks receptions, and can be split into three distinct areas for small gatherings. The two smaller spaces will this year gain an art deco gloss as part of a relaunch. In other breaking news, the Galvin brothers are opening a restaurant on the ground floor in late May and will take over events catering too.

Cancellation policy

-90 days or more before the date of the Event, Supplier will retain the Deposit and refund any Charges that have been paid (minus any Deposit already paid); -less than 90 days but more than 30 days before the date of the Event, Supplier will retain (if already paid by the Customer) 50% of the Charges and refund any remaining balance of the Charges paid on account. Where the Customer has not yet paid the Supplier 50% of the Charges, Customer is liable to Supplier for a payment of 50% of the Charges (minus any Deposit already paid); -30 days or less but more than 10 days before the date of the Event, Supplier will retain (if already paid by the Customer) 80% of the Charges and refund any remaining balance of the Charges paid on account. Where the Customer has not yet paid the Supplier 80% of the Charges, Customer is liable to Supplier for a payment of 80% of the Charges (minus any Deposit already paid); -10 days or less before the date of the Event, Supplier will retain (if already paid by the Customer) 100% of the Charges or where the Customer has not yet paid Supplier 100% of the Charges, Customer is liable to Supplier for a payment of 100% of the Charges

A beautiful hotel with a fabulous location! We had just a couple of nights in London and this was the perfect stay. Our rooms were cozy and comfortable, with gorgeous Molton Brown bath products. The staff was kind and welcoming throughout our stay. A special thank you to William for being so helpful both before and during our stay. His help with coordinating transportation and recommendations during our visit really made our stay wonderful. We will definitely return for our next stay in London.

Spent a week in London staying at the Athenaeum, in a Deluxe Bay Window Room. The location of the hotel was perfect, on Piccadilly, with Green Park literally across the street and Hyde Park a short walk away. The hotel is also a short walk away from two tube lines (Hyde Park Corner & Green Park), making it so easy to get from place to place. The main reason we would be back is the amazing staff. For us, this puts things over the top and why we plan to stay here on future visits. The team makes themselves available for all your needs. Shout outs to Daniel, Mariusz, Grace, William, and Livio! I know there are a few that I am forgetting. They are all great. We can't recommend this place enough.

We stayed here for just a couple of nights while in London, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location is amazing, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, Yasir was so welcoming and helpful, even late at night, which really made us feel looked after. The doorman was always smiling and quick to lend a hand with anything we needed — such a lovely first impression every time we came in. The food was fantastic! Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and dinner was beautifully cooked and full of flavour.

A regular/annual visitor to this hotel and always very pleased to come back. The staff here are wonderful, accomodating and very pleasant to deal with. So far nothing has been a problem and this high quality of service and excellent manners go a long way these days, especially in London. The rooms are very nice and one of my favourite beds to stay in. The Bar offering and Breakfast are wonderful too. I look forward to my next visit!
