The Dixon, Tower Bridge, Autograph Collection (Marriott chain) I stayed in the Presidential Suite (room # 301) and Junior Suite (Room # 33) in September 2025. Here are some of my thoughts about this hotel. The Good: The staff are warm and welcoming, and the location is superb - less than a 5-minute walk to Tower Bridge, about 10 - 15 minutes to The Shard and London Bridge Underground Station (which is the closest subway station to the hotel), and a short stroll (about 12 - 15 minutes) across the bridge to the Tower of London. Plenty of restaurants and some shopping are nearby. The hotel itself has a “classic” feel with old-world charm that shows its age in the lobby and main dining area, but the rooms are comfortable with excellent, spacious bathrooms featuring Hansgrohe fixtures. The Bad: Nothing major, but a couple of disappointing (or surprising) points: (1) Despite the beautiful, modern bathrooms in both suites, the water pressure is very poor – do not count on an invigorating morning shower; (2) The Junior Suite lacks a desk, which makes working inconvenient – you will need to make do with a coffee table. The Mixed: The “Presidential Suite” is presidential in name only. It is a medium-sized suite with a single bathroom and limited space. Comfortable, yes, but it does not live up (not even close) to the prestige usually associated with that title in major hotel chains. Summary: Overall, this is a very good 4-star hotel in an excellent central London location. I would happily stay here again - especially as a Marriott Bonvoy member – but would skip the Presidential Suite as it is not worth the extra cash and opt for regular suite or Junior Suite instead.

Great hotel in a great neighborhood. We were upgraded to an executive room on the lower ground floor (facing the front of the hotel with a window looking up to the street). It was still bright and quiet so no issues there despite our initial reservations :) The room was spacious and very well appointed. The neighborhood is also great, as it's on a quiet street but only a block or so from a very active area. The nearest tube station is a bit of a walk (half a mile) but there are a gazillion bikes available in the area too.

Great location. Very walkable to offices, Tower Bridge and London Bridge. Rooms are clean and modern with rain fall showers, good TV and comfy bed. Not great desk space for working - only a small round table - but not impossible. Nice bar and restaurant. English breakfasts with healthy options. As with other Autograph Collection hotels, expect some quirkiness and interesting art. This is an older, refitted building so some floors may have steps here and there.

We stayed one night and everything was perfect for us. We upgraded to room 608 . Very quiet, good view , room large , well equipped and clean . Food was really good , breakfast a large choice. All staff very welcoming and friendly. Location was perfect for us . We'd definitely return. An excellent hotel .

We were excited to stay here as the reviews were great. If I start off with the positives, staff were great, beautiful looking hotel, close to so many things and easy walk for transit. Loved the location. Shower was good as well. My disappointment in the hotel, the pillows are terrible, flat as pancakes! Usually hotels have huge, luxurious fluffy pillows. Not this hotel. the bed was okay, it’s a tiny room ( not a complaint on the size, it’s really to rest and sleep) so we have to sit on the bed, we’ve had more comfortable mattresses at other hotels. So I would give the bed and pillows 1/5 stars. If it’s hot out, you can’t keep the A/C on, it’s get super super damp in the room, we felt it in the sheets, in our spare clothes . Felt quite gross, so we shut it off and just kept the fan on. Location 5/5 Food/pubs nearby 5/5 Bathroom 5/5 Beds 1/5
