Hotel Cafe Royal, Mayfair

We spent our wedding anniversary at Hotel Café Royal, and the entire experience was unforgettable. From the moment we stepped into the grand lobby, we were struck by its timeless beauty, the elegant interiors, calming lighting, and refined atmosphere immediately set the tone for a luxurious stay. Our room was exquisite: spacious, impeccably designed, and filled with thoughtful touches that made it feel both modern and inviting. The bathroom was especially impressive, beautifully finished with marble details, a rain shower, and the kind of amenities that make you want to linger just a little longer. Every corner of the hotel reflected the same level of care and sophistication, from the stunning hallways to the peaceful spa areas. Breakfast at The Gallery was a highlight each morning, beautifully presented and delicious in every way. The pastries were fresh, the fruit vibrant, and the service exceptional. We also had the chance to unwind at the Akasha Spa, which was simply world-class serene, immaculate, and rejuvenating. What made our stay truly special, though, was the warmth of the staff. Every member of the team was attentive and genuine, ensuring our anniversary celebration felt personal and memorable. Hotel Café Royal is more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience in itself. Elegant, welcoming, and flawlessly executed from start to finish. We left with full hearts and beautiful memories, already planning our next visit. Five shining stars, without hesitation.

From the moment we got in to the hotels Rolls Royce to take us to the hotel and up until the moment that we left, everything was better than anticipated. We booked a loft suite through American Express Fine hotels and received a very nice room upgrade with a lovely view and plenty of room. We had planned lots of shopping and evenings out, so the location was ideal and when we did need to go anywhere a bit further, we mainly used the hotel Bentley which was lovely and another nice perk of having a suite. The gym was a decent size and had enough equipment to do my usual routine. Spa and pool were good too. Breakfast was very comprehensive and service was great as was our meal in the Royal Grill. Honestly could not have been happier and will definitely be re-visiting and booking a suite next time too. Those little extra perks made all the difference. Even had a bally display on the Saturday that we vacated. Thank you Eugene and all the team that made it so good!

If I could give this hotel 10 stars, I absolutely would! I’ve stayed here multiple times before, but it seems to have improved even further in every way—it’s undoubtedly the top hotel in London. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings, and the staff is exceptionally helpful, responding quickly to any request with genuine warmth and friendliness. The overall service is simply outstanding. They went out of their way to accommodate our early check-in and late check-out. The spa is marvelous, fully equipped with everything you could need. The food is of the highest quality, and there’s a beautiful tea room ideal for enjoying the famous English afternoon tea. The cherry on top is the complimentary Bentley available to guests on a first-come, first-served basis. The location is unbeatable for exploring everything London has to offer.
