The Langham Hotel London, The Terrace Garden

The Langham is an institution, what can I say. Have I been to hotels with better interiors? Yes. But rarely to ones as welcoming and accommodating as the Langham. It genuinely sets the gold standard for what five-star service looks and feels like. It is simply impeccable. If I ever wrote a book titled “The Art of Hosting,” the Langham would be the first case study. Everybody working there should be extremely proud of what they’ve accomplished. It’s a stark reminder that a hotel is ultimately about its people. You can give me the presidential suite at the Mandarin, but I’d rather stay in a tiny attic room at the Langham, because I know they’ll take much better care of me. And I mean that.

We had a truly delightful afternoon tea experience. The service provided was exceptional, with Alan being remarkably attentive and experienced. He took the time to explain each stage of the afternoon tea in great detail and did not feel rushed. Every serving was presented beautifully and tasted exquisite. We highly recommend this establishment for a wonderful treat. We'll be going back for sure😃

Our stay at The Langham London was truly one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. From the moment we stepped out of the taxi, every member of the staff made us feel welcomed, valued, and genuinely cared for. The level of service was exceptional and truly first-class. We visited over Easter with our daughter, and the hotel went above and beyond to make the experience magical for her. They had the Easter Bunny visit, created an incredible chocolate Easter display, and presented a beautiful white chocolate Easter figurine in a large decorative carrying case. It was such a special touch and something she still talks about. When we arrived in our room, they had thoughtfully prepared a little space just for our daughter and even gave her a teddy bear. The rooms were beautiful, luxurious, and incredibly comfortable. Every detail felt carefully considered. The food throughout our stay was excellent, and every interaction with the staff from the doormen to the front desk team and everyone in between was warm, professional, and genuinely kind. The Langham doesn’t just provide a hotel stay; it creates unforgettable memories. We left with wonderful memories as a family and can’t wait to return. Thank you to the entire team for making our Easter holiday so special.
