About Venue

Dartmouth House, home of The English-Speaking Union, is an elegant mansion set in the heart of London’s Mayfair, providing the perfect setting for hosting events.
The House can hold conferences, board meetings, training events, seminars and lectures as well as elegant private dining functions, awards dinners, summer and Christmas parties, private events and weddings.
Located just minutes from Berkeley Square, Bond Street and Green Park, our West London location is perfectly situated.

Dartmouth House's largest event space is ideal for various occasions, including conferences, meetings, elegant dining, and wedding breakfasts.

The Long Drawing Room, with its late 18th-century decor and views of Charles Street, boasts a Robert Adam's fireplace, gracefully draped full-length sash windows that allow plenty of natural daylight, French-style rococo ornate coving, and lofty ceilings, creating a truly atmospheric setting.

This room can host up to 100 guests for a dinner or 150 for a reception. Additionally, it can be seamlessly combined with the adjoining Small Drawing Room for larger events or to provide a breakout space if needed.

We had the most incredible experience celebrating our wedding at Dartmouth House, and we are so happy with how everything turned out. A special thank you to Charlotte, our coordinator, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She was always available, incredibly quick to respond, and always happy to answer any questions we had. She was clear, organised, professional and, above all, so kind and supportive. Charlotte’s experience and expertise were invaluable. She gave us thoughtful advice throughout the planning process, which made us feel confident and reassured that everything was in the best possible hands. Our wedding day was truly incredible. Everything was organised perfectly, the food was fantastic, and we received so many compliments from our guests.
