Dartmouth House, home of The English-Speaking Union, is an elegant mansion set in the heart of London’s Mayfair, providing the perfect setting for hosting events.
The House can hold conferences, board meetings, training events, seminars and lectures as well as elegant private dining functions, awards dinners, summer and Christmas parties, private events and weddings.

The Small Drawing Room is a refined space, ideal for intimate meetings and dining experiences. Enclosed by intricately carved ceilings and baroque wall decorations, your event will exude the grandeur of our stunning venue while maintaining a comfortable and intimate ambiance—a necessity for your significant business meetings or special dinners.

This room is well-suited for board and executive meetings with a capacity of 24 or receptions for up to 70 guests. For larger events, it can be seamlessly combined with the adjoining Long Drawing Room through an interconnecting doorway.

We had the most incredible experience celebrating our wedding at Dartmouth House, and we are so happy with how everything turned out. A special thank you to Charlotte, our coordinator, who was absolutely incredible throughout the entire process. She was always available, incredibly quick to respond, and always happy to answer any questions we had. She was clear, organised, professional and, above all, so kind and supportive. Charlotte’s experience and expertise were invaluable. She gave us thoughtful advice throughout the planning process, which made us feel confident and reassured that everything was in the best possible hands. Our wedding day was truly incredible.
