Holiday Inn Express Park Royal

Paid £468.55 for 4 nights stay in Oct 2025 in Holiday Inn Express Park Royal By IHG after booking thru Agoda. 1. Stayed on the 4th floor of the hotel. The room faced the railway track and was quite noisy whenever the train passed by. 2. The room was sufficiently clean but it was quite squeezy for 3 adults. Our luggage did not have enough space to be opened on the floor. It would be just nice for 2 adults to stay without opening the sofa bed. The bed was ok. 3. There was no aircon and fan in the room and we sometimes felt warm although outside temperature was around 11°C . 4. The attached toilet and bathroom were clean. The water pressure was strong and drainage was good. 5. The hotel provided face and bath towels. They were changed daily by housekeeping. 6. The wifi was stable. 7. Service staff at the reception was friendly. 8. Breakfast was included in the hotel charges and was good enough to fill the stomach before exploring the attractions. 9. North Acton underground train station was within 2-minute walk. 10. There were some fast-food takeaways i.e. Chicken Land, Domino’s Pizza, and supermarkets i.e. Tesco and Sainsbury within walking distance.

Service was good despite a large check in queue yet the room , first floor over bus stop was disappointing for the price. Window was jammed open with bent catches , bed was small and uncomfortable, toilet roll holder was broken . Room quite noisy over bus stop and near trains with the window not fully closed. Only 2 tea bags and 2 coffees in room and 2 milks for 2 people so not exactly generous. Buffet breakfast was awful , dried up sausages and the bacon tasted like they'd cooked it last week. Pastries were stale . Really not worth it.
