Hackney Town Hall offers sumptuous grandeur for weddings, receptions and conferences in a sought after Art-Deco style.
The graceful curved staircase leads to the beautifully restored Assembly Hall with a vast array of original features including the imposing 1930s chandeliers and original sprung dance floor.
Excellent AV support, along with dedicated events management is included in the hire cost, both elements ensuring a professionally run event and memorable day.
Accomodating up to 550 standing for a reception the Assembly Hall is suitable for a variety of events and has the option of hosting both the wedding ceremony and celebrations providing a whole day’s experience in one venue. Sadly, standalone ceremonies aren't possible in the Assembly Hall but the Civic Suite, another stunning room in the Town Hall is available and provides space for up to 100. The adjoining Bridgetown Bar, decorated in dark wood and marble fixtures, evokes the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. This space is perfect as a private bar or VIP green room.

I photographed a wedding at Hackney Town Hall and it’s such an impressive venue. The architecture is stunning and the interiors photograph beautifully, with lots of natural light and elegant details throughout. Everything felt well organised on the day, which made the whole experience smooth and relaxed for the couple and their guests. A brilliant choice for couples looking for a classic London wedding venue with character, space, and timeless style.
