Hackney Town Hall offers sumptuous grandeur for weddings, receptions and conferences in a sought after Art-Deco style.
The graceful curved staircase leads to the beautifully restored Assembly Hall with a vast array of original features including the imposing 1930s chandeliers and original sprung dance floor.
Excellent AV support, along with dedicated events management is included in the hire cost, both elements ensuring a professionally run event and memorable day.
Accomodating up to 550 standing for a reception the Assembly Hall is suitable for a variety of events and has the option of hosting both the wedding ceremony and celebrations providing a whole day’s experience in one venue. Sadly, standalone ceremonies aren't possible in the Assembly Hall but the Civic Suite, another stunning room in the Town Hall is available and provides space for up to 100. The adjoining Bridgetown Bar, decorated in dark wood and marble fixtures, evokes the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. This space is perfect as a private bar or VIP green room.

Attended a citizenship ceremony at Hackney Town Hall. The facility has a reception area for guests to arrive. The official was very nice, and the ceremony was uplifting. She allowed for family and friends to photograph during and after the event. Very pleased to have witnessed this big event for a loved one.

Team Edwards Photography. Hackney Town Hall comes in at number 1 for me in terms of the classic London Town Hall wedding locations. It ticks every visual photographic box for the cool urban wedding vibe. The coordinators/registrars are just the best bunch around. Theyre so professional, warm and accommodating and this really adds to the ceremony experience. The spaces for photographs are immense and make the photo process a dream. 10 out of 10 and I can’t wait to visit again. Give me a shout if you want an unbiased opinion/recommendation of the venue.
