Hackney Town Hall offers sumptuous grandeur for weddings, receptions and conferences in a sought after Art-Deco style.

The graceful curved staircase leads to the beautifully restored Assembly Hall with a vast array of original features including the imposing 1930s chandeliers and original sprung dance floor.

Excellent AV support, along with dedicated events management is included in the hire cost, both elements ensuring a professionally run event and memorable day.

The Bridgetown Bar, decorated in dark wood and marble fixtures, evokes the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. This space is perfect as a private bar or VIP green room.

We got married here at Hackney Town Hall Registry Office at the beginning of July this year and what a beautiful building, the location was just perfect for the best day of our lives. The staff made us feel so welcome right from booking stage up to us leaving on the day. The Registrar that married us was so nice and friendly to talk to. Along with a photo opportunity in the courtyard and the steps at front of the building just made it a special day with special memories. I highly recommended Hackney Town Hall for your big day you won’t be disappointed. A big thank you from us both.

We had a wonderful wedding in the committee room of the Town Hall. All the staff were great including the security team who were welcoming and enthusiastic. Our registrars did a wonderful job and were a very calming influence before and throughout the ceremony. The Hackney Venues team were a pleasure to deal with and an excellent guide to getting everything organised. Everything went off with only one hitch, and that was us!
