Hackney Town Hall offers sumptuous grandeur for weddings, receptions and conferences in a sought after Art-Deco style.
The graceful curved staircase leads to the beautifully restored Assembly Hall with a vast array of original features including the imposing 1930s chandeliers and original sprung dance floor.
Excellent AV support, along with dedicated events management is included in the hire cost, both elements ensuring a professionally run event and memorable day.
Accommodating up to 550 standing for a reception, the large main space of the Assembly Hall can then be broken down into three smaller rooms, with the original floor-to-ceiling partitions, great for hosting more intimate events.
For business clients, both the entire space and three smaller spaces are equipped with state of the art AV facilities and conference style furniture. The adjoining Bridgetown Bar, decorated in dark wood and marble fixtures, evokes the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. This space is perfect as a private bar or VIP green room.

I photographed a wedding at Hackney Town Hall and it’s such an impressive venue. The architecture is stunning and the interiors photograph beautifully, with lots of natural light and elegant details throughout. Everything felt well organised on the day, which made the whole experience smooth and relaxed for the couple and their guests.
