Went for lunch on a sunny Spring day. The set menu was great. Prawn starter and Steak for main course. It’s 140g but for a ‘light’ lunch perfect. Roused off with Sorbet and washed down with a low / no alcohol IPA. shout out to our waiter Andrea . . . And better luck for 2030 (he’s an Italian football fan !)

We had such an amazing experience at Gaucho, and a huge part of that was thanks to Nelson. His service was truly outstanding — we were looked after so well from start to finish. It was my birthday, and he went out of his way to make it feel extra special, which we really appreciated. Even though the restaurant was very busy (especially on a sunny weekend), Nelson was incredibly attentive, making sure everything was perfect for us. His warmth and professionalism really stood out. We had such a great time, and it’s service like this that keeps us coming back. Thank you, Nelson — we hope to see you again soon!

Dined with my family to celebrate my mother’s birthday and had a wonderful time. The staff were all welcoming, and helpful from start to finish. Even the Head Chef of the day Geronimo came to greet us and ask if anything was needed. Pavla our table host was lovely and attentive, and the presentation of my mums’s celebratory dessert was a very nice touch. The food and cocktails were excellent. Very well looked after all evening. Will come back again soon. Thankyou to all for an unforgettable experience.

It was for a birthday and it seemed everyone serving acknowledged that which was a nice gesture as I put that on our booking note. I did say I wouldn’t expect a freebie and the fudge wasn’t . Nothing was free. Although they did write a Happy Birthday on the fudge my son ordered and they put a candle on top. Free candle I guess? That’s nice. We were a family of 4. It was our first time. We had : Sides of mac and cheese, greens and chips Crab on toast and prawn sugo Sirloin steak - 300g A sharing plate of ribeye steak - 700g Sea bream - lovely! A few mocktails, beer and still water x 2 bottles. 1 fudge and 1 dulce pancake. With tip it came to a few fences short of £300. Everything was delicious apart from the sirloin. It had the texture of a rump steak!!! Extremely chewy so that was disappointing. Food - in summary- quite delicious but similar to Buenasado Argentine steakhouse in Walton on Thames. Service from Oksana was top class! A good amount of banter, attention but not intrusive. The restaurant was very busy. We went for dinner and we had booked which was a wise move on a Friday night. Atmosphere- it’s ok. The background music does not befit the restaurant as it created a bar-like atmosphere and it did irritate me a bit. Classical music might have been more appropriate. But then again that’s just my personal opinion. All in all a lovely night especially thanks to the chefs and Oksana.

On a Saturday afternoon by the beautiful river in Richmond, I enjoyed a 450g Angus fillet steak. It was a delightful experience. The steak was very tender, and the fresh green salad and chips complemented it perfectly. The 2/3 courseset menu is also quite decent.
