Gaucho Richmond

A great riverside lunch spot! Very beautiful restaurant in a perfect location. Food very good, I had the pumpkin ravioli which was delicious and my friend had the chicken Milanese - also very delicious. We shared the chocolate torte for dessert which was heavenly! Reasonable prices, great choice of drinks. Would highly recommend for a nice lunch. Big shout out to our server Matthew who was wonderful - he definitely knows his stuff and was very friendly 😊

An amazing riverside steak experience alongside the picturesque River Thames in SW14, arguably the most perfect location in London! The service was impeccable, as the waitress juggled through both indoor and outdoor patrons but always maintained a smile despite the infamous British / European heatwave. Kudos to her for her tremendous service. Each dish was faultless despite there being, possibly 100+ guests being served simultaneously! The ribeye was good! Filet was even better, but I was stunned and mesmerised by the sirloin! This was the gold standard. All of starters were exceptional, and probably required several additional top ups! The salad was very green, and executed to perfection despite this being a steakhouse, as attention and due care was given here! As for the dessert, you only need to look at the readiness of the patrons roaring to attack! The crumble definitely was the choice to be had! Overall… exceptional…

Hi Gauto team, I just wanted to say thank you for looking after us so well during our visit. From the start, Scarlett took amazing care of us – she was so attentive, helpful, and really listened to our needs. Later, we were also looked after by her colleague from Istria, Croatia, and an Asian gentleman who carried things on so smoothly. All three were great, but Scarlett in particular really made us feel welcome, and we’re very grateful for her service. The only small things we weren’t so happy with were that my friend’s fish main course was quite dry, and our pancakes for dessert were served cold and a bit tough to cut – maybe they’re meant to be that way, but we weren’t sure. Other than that, everything else was wonderful. We loved your happy hour cocktails – the house ones were really delicious and something different, which was a nice treat. And thank you very much for the thoughtful surprise of a bottle of bubbly for my (slightly late!) birthday – that really made the evening special.
