About Venue

Fare Restaurant + Bar is a relaxed stylish eatery located near Farringdon & Clerkenwell. Our venue is easily accessible, only a 5-minute walk to Farringdon & Old Street tube station. With its two distinct levels, Fare offers a dynamic experience. The lower ground floor showcases an inviting main dining room, while the ground floor presents a casual eating area seamlessly connected to the ground floor terrace, where you can savour the fresh air.

We work with our guests to bespoke their experience, whether it's a sit-down dinner or more relaxed canapé receptions, we are able to work around you to make your event a memorable experience!

With all types of catering available from coffee and tea service with pastries to canapé and bowl food and 4-course sharing or set menus, FARE is the ideal venue for every event.

FARE’s menu style is modern-European small plates supplemented by the hottest pizza oven in town. For larger groups we offer fantastic family-style feasts or Aperitivo-style platters.

Loved the food, pizza was fantastic and overall a very chilled place to have a meal with friends and be able to talk :) One thing, the kitchen closes very soon, make sure you order desserts before it closes otherwise you miss it.

We hosted our wedding reception with Fare in September and couldn't recommend the venue and team enough! We did a full venue hire and hosted a standing reception rolling into the evening event. We were so incredibly happy with every detail of the day. The lovely Fare team were so helpful to our set up team, everything was on time and spectacular and we had such amazing feedback from our guests on every part of the day. The food and drinks at every part of the event were incredible (and kept coming!) from sharing platters and bowl food to late night pizzas. We danced the night away and had the time of our lives. My new wife Jess and I can’t thank FARE enough for making our wedding reception so special. Florence thought of everything and ensured that the day was planned with meticulous timing. On the day, Joe ensured that everything ran on time and smoothly, and he couldn’t have done any more to ensure we were very well looked after. All of the staff on the day did a great job of keeping all glasses topped up and drinks flowing. The food was 10/10 and we’re still getting messages saying the food was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! The wine room looked incredible - it was the perfect intimate place to have our meal. The changeover from meal to dancefloor was seamless, and the brass band for the party in the wine room afterwards made it feel like an underground jazz bar - exactly the vibe we were hoping for! Thanks so much to all of the staff (both front and back of house!) who made our wedding day so incredibly special and memorable. We would highly recommend FARE if you are looking for a cool reception venue in the city. Josh & Jess Clark
