Another week in London, another stay at this hotel. It works well for my role in the City, as an IHG member it offers better prices and upgrades at time. Staff were lovely this week and there are easy food options, if you don't want to eat in the hotel

I recently stayed at the Holiday Inn, and I have to mention how wonderful Sajia was. She helped me during check-in and check-out and was genuinely kind, professional, and patient throughout. She made the whole process feel effortless and pleasant. It’s rare to meet someone who’s both efficient and so warm in their approach Sajia truly stood out. Thanks to her, my stay started and ended on a great note.

It was so lovely to meet “Israh” the restaurant and event bar manager. She has a great and wonderful unique personality when accommodating guests of the hotel. Friendly and she will approach you with a smile in her face that will make your day alive. Breakfast wise, the food were great compared to other hotels. They serve different varieties of menus depending on the continent where you’re staying. Holiday Inn always have a standard that will satisfy your stay and your tummy. This is by far I met a wonderful lady in the IHG family with a warm and energetic attitude. Thank you Israh for the wonderful and short talk and we really nice to meet you too.

5 star boutique hotel type service/staff. I stay in many hotels around the world and there is something is uniquely special about this HI. The staff are outstandingly friendly and helpful. They have a lovely esprit de corps and greet each other with hugs and smiles. They all appear to love working there, take great pride in their work, and it creates a wonderful cheerful atmosphere for the guests. Something is going right here that other hotels should emulate. Room is nice and recently updated. Location isn’t fancy, but it’s a 5min walk to White Chapel station w fast tube access to Paddington and the rest of the city. I can stay at much “fancier” hotels if I want but I continue to stay here

Nice enough but not honest enough for me to return. I left a pair of silver and turquoise earrings and a pair of diamond stud earrings in a glass by the bed. I remembered I'd left them there ad called the hotel, assuming they'd be in lost property, and the manager tried to persuade me they had not been left there. I don't appreciate being gaslit especially when it was his staff that stole my jewellery. EDIT: We were NOT advised to report the issue to the police, as the manager Johnson Joseph below has stated. However now that we are home this seems like a very good idea. The person we spoke to did look into the matter, was initially very respectful and called us back, however their subsequent response was defensive and dismissive, insinuating that we were mistaken. This seems in keeping with Mr Joseph's passive aggressive ending to his reply below, stating that our not returning be best for "both parties", which implies that our experience of theft, our experiencing of gaslighting, and our unsatisfactory experience to honest review of these experiences has rendered us unpalatable customers. This is probably a very good thing to bear in mind when you're considering booking this hotel. Customers must trust hotel staff to be honest and live out their integrity at every level.
