An absolute luxury for a public institution. It’s open, welcoming and genuinely accessible, while the collections are well worth seeing in their own right. The toilets could perhaps have been a little cleaner, but given that entry is completely free, I really can’t ask for much more. A wonderful place to spend some time.

The British Library is on my Top 5 List of Libraries in the World! It is also on the top 10 list of places to visit in London, as it is much more than just a library, it's also a literary museum, with lots of important exhibitions and treasures of all times. During my most recent visit I went into the Sacred Texts exhibition, which was very special to be able to see the 1539 first authorised Bible in English. The British Library also has lots of space to bring our own lap top and books to study. You can easily spend all day here visiting all exhibitions and catching up on studies.

The British Library is a wonderful place to read and study. It has a peaceful atmosphere, comfortable study areas, and very helpful staff. It is one of the few places where I’ve truly experienced a sense of calm and deep concentration. I often come here to study and can stay focused for hours. It is also conveniently located near King’s Cross and St Pancras stations. I only wish I had discovered it sooner! Come and visit , you’ll definitely fall in love with it.
