We had steak here, followed fruit crumble. The flavour & taste were very good. The location is great as you can stroll around St. Catherine's dock and along the Thames. Will came back again.

Not only for food but this is one of the best Inns in the UK. It is located in a prime location but so peaceful from the hustle tourism as it lies inside a dock. Cant say enough only you sit down enjoy food & drinks from 12:00 noon. Enjoy the whole view and beautiful trailing & flower basket s🌈🌈🌈

The Dickens Inn, St Katherine's Docks is a huge archetypal tourist trap. Housed over multiple floors, it is a pub, a restaurant, a cafe, a meeting place-it is everything. A good range of keg beers is available but disappointing to see six cask pump handles with five not badged and out of use. An excellent effort with the greenery with hanging baskets and planters everywhere giving the place a very inviting look.

The atmosphere here is lovely - especially on a sunny day, it’s nice to sit outside on their second floor balcony. Their food is okay, they have a few veggie options but not many. I had wanted to order a children’s veggie roast but the waiter said they only do the children’s version for meat roasts (which was weird since I have seen the children’s veggie version on the online menu). Their portions are huge (which might justify the price, but barely) so I would recommend getting the children’s option if you are not too hungry.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Dickens Inn, where I enjoyed one of the best fish and chips I've ever had. The pub itself is nothing short of spectacular, with a charming ambiance that perfectly captures the essence of a classic British pub. The decor is warm and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal with friends or family. The fish and chips were outstanding. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked with a golden, crispy batter, and the chips were deliciously thick and fluffy. The dish was served with a side of tangy tartar sauce and a slice of lemon, adding the perfect finishing touch to a fantastic meal. However, the experience was slightly marred by the service. While the staff were friendly, they seemed overwhelmed and somewhat inattentive. This lack of attentiveness detracted from what could have been a flawless dining experience. Despite the service hiccups, I would still highly recommend The Dickens Inn for their exceptional fish and chips. With a little improvement in service, this pub could easily become a top-notch dining destination.
