Set in 6 acres of gardens, this hotel and conference centre is a 19th-century mansion house is less than a mile from Darwen and 2.4 miles from the M65 motorway.
The main house offers elegant traditional rooms with original features, some with spa baths and garden views. Rooms in the garden wing have more contemporary-style furniture, and all have tea and coffee making facilities.
We have eight conference rooms and well managed wi-fi facilities. The conference rooms have available various technologies required for training and other business needs.

lovely hotel near where I have meetings from time to time. Comfortable clean rooms and the staff are very welcoming. The food is excellent and at my last visit I had duck and it was superb. Recommended if you are in the area.

Attended a wedding, then stayed over for the night. Excellent venue and well managed. The staff were brilliant throughout the day/ night. Rooms spotlessly clean.

We have just stayed for 3 months whilst in process of moving house. It has been the comfiest, most welcoming stay we could possibly have had anywhere. The rooms are spotlessly clean, all the staff are so so helpful and friendly and cannot do enough to help.The chef is excellent and his food is delicious. I must mention the ladies who kept our room spotless and were so courteous! Margaret who looked after us at breakfasts , could not do enough for us! And then Dave, Lisa and Mary who greeted us every day on leaving and returning to the hotel each evening, they were all so friendly and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. The bar staff and the rest of the waiting on staff all so friendly, helpful and just fab at their jobs. I would recommend Astley Bank to everyone. We will be returning after Xmas to book a special function that we are having next year and we know that it will be just amazing and we will be looked after. To the General Manager , you have the best team, we did get to thank most of them but please make sure all your staff know how thrilled we were with them and our stay with you .
