The second floor offers over 780m2 of pillar free conference, dining or exhibition space. It has full grey-out blinds, 3 phase power across the room and allows access to five balconies to enjoy the superb views over the racecourse and Berkshire countryside. With a maximum capacity of 500 guests for a drinks reception or dinner, 400 guests for a cabaret-style event, 2 card-only bars and kitchen on the same floor the possibilities are endless. Additionally, when you hire the 2nd floor, you will get exclusive access to the floor for the full 24hrs, complmentary WiFi and complimentary parking. If your event is an awards dinner/celebration event, why not hire our 1st floor for your drinks reception too!

In the unfortunate circumstances that you have to cancel your confirmed booking at any time prior to the Event, the Venue reserves the right to apply the following cancellation charges, based on the total contracted value according to the number of days prior to the scheduled Event date that you cancel the Event. January 2024Great day out. Very old course and buildings, so full of character. Friendly staff and didn't eat, but the food looked and smelled lovely in the little grandstand cafe/restaurant. Lots of stands and viewing areas, many under cover for a decent view in bad weather. Short walk into town with plenty of good bars and restaurants.

March 2024We always have a really good day at Newbury Races, and this time was no exception. We took our young baby and, to our delight, were informed by several friendly staff of a room for breastfeeding. This was so unexpected but appreciated massively. Well done!

February 2024We went on a super Saturday betfair day.... I don't know anything about horse racing but it seemed to be a big deal. There are 2 tiers of entry ticket with the more expensive one giving you access to the finish line paddock. Plenty of bars and food around, pricey but not extortionate. Service was quick, but I don't think the venue was that full. What is good is that the train station is almost part of the race course, so it's less than a minutes walk. We were lucky with weather, so for us it was a good day out.
