Hackney Town Hall offers sumptuous grandeur for weddings, receptions and conferences in a sought after Art-Deco style.
The graceful curved staircase leads to the beautifully restored Assembly Hall with a vast array of original features including the imposing 1930s chandeliers and original sprung dance floor.
Excellent AV support, along with dedicated events management is included in the hire cost, both elements ensuring a professionally run event and memorable day.
Accommodating up to 550 standing for a reception, the large main space of the Assembly Hall can then be broken down into three smaller rooms, with the original floor-to-ceiling partitions, great for hosting more intimate events.
For business clients, both the entire space and three smaller spaces are equipped with state of the art AV facilities and conference style furniture. The adjoining Bridgetown Bar, decorated in dark wood and marble fixtures, evokes the feel of an exclusive gentlemen’s club. This space is perfect as a private bar or VIP green room.

April 2024One of our favourite London Town Halls to photograph and film wedding ceremonies in. Such a great selection of ceremony spaces and the Atrium is absolutely incredible place to get married! On top of that the staff and the registrars have been wonderful every time we've been here.

January 2024Great venue and asset to the local community. We were there with the BBC Choir event, almost 400 singers used the facilities and enjoyed a delicious pie and mash dinner courtesy of The London Pie and Mash Company. The venue offers a very flexible set of spaces for large and small events. It's really nice and the facilities staff are very accommodating .
