Upon arrival me and my partner had been chosen as Guest Of The Day! This included a room upgrade to an executive suite, free breakfast and other extras. This was a birthday present for my partner so she was delighted with the upgrade. The staff were fantastic throughout our stay. No more so than General Manager Matt. I thanked him for the Guest Of The Day and explained we had come away for my partners birthday. This morning at breakfast the service host was outstanding and very welcoming. Our table had balloons on and a happy birthday message and card. Incredible hospitality. So good that I'm writing this whilst still at the breakfast table. Thank You. We will definitely be back!GOOGLE REVIEW
The hotel is located within walking distance of the castle and Victoria street. The breakfast is pretty good and the rooms are quite nice as well. The one thing though is that the rooms don't have air conditioning but have built in fans that barely work. This can make the room quite warm in summer.GOOGLE REVIEW
A supposed 4* hotel which was no different to most budget hotels aside from the spa area - sauna, small pool, hot tub and non-working steam room. Upon arrival there was one staff member at reception, no one to help with the door/bags/anything. I’m not expecting a bellboy but some sort of staff presence would be good. Food was poor quality. We returned some awful nachos; the staff were helpful although it seemed complicated to get a refund when we put it on the room. Atmosphere in the Tap bar was ok, some live music and TVs, but we had to wait 5 minutes to get our bill as the only server was busy making a cocktail. Again, no staff! Most importantly, the room was comfortable and fairly sized but again, not 4*. No minibar. An empty, switched-off fridge instead. Dog-friendly which was the only positive of this hotel for us.GOOGLE REVIEW
Nice chain hotel in Edinburgh's old town, with a central location handy for the city. It has an attractive entrance foyer, and a basement swimming pool and gym. Went in the bar for a lunchtime show during the fringe, and it's got a good modern vibe.GOOGLE REVIEW
Great location!! A short walk to the main areas/shops. We stayed for me night and our room was decently priced and included everything you would need for just one stay. Loved it!GOOGLE REVIEW
