I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel, and I must say, it met all my expectations. The location is simply superb. It’s situated near the pier, the observation wheel, and the beach, making it incredibly convenient for walking and exploring. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of activities. The bed was incredibly cosy, ensuring a great night’s sleep. The amenities, including air conditioning and a TV, enhanced the overall comfort. However, the only thing missing was a fridge, which would have been a nice addition. The breakfast selection was impressive, with a good variety of food and drinks to choose from, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. It provided a great start to the day. The staff were friendly, polite, and professional. They went out of their way to make sure my stay was pleasant, always ready to assist with any inquiries or needs. Their warm hospitality truly made a difference. Overall, my stay was delightful. The combination of a prime location, good room quality, a great breakfast selection, and outstanding staff service makes this hotel a top choice. While the rooms could benefit from some updating, I am overall very happy with my stay and will definitely use this hotel again. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

We have stayed in The Hermitage Hotel for a number of years, we have always had a friendly welcome, the food we've had has always been to a high standard, we have been shown professionalism by all staff members we have met. We have no complaints about the standard of any of the rooms provided, we found Amy, the operations manager, to be friendly and very helpful. We've just spent a lovely 8 days at the Hotel and are very much looking forward to returning in 6 weeks time, a big thank you to all the staff who made our stay very enjoyable.

The hotel is perfectly situated close to the seafront. The rooms we had on the second floor was clean and tidy but very dated with a noisy air conditioning unit outside the window. Friends had a room on the ground floor overlooking the Pavillion/park but were awakened at 5.45am with loud music playing, their shower head was old and very low which was an issue as they are tall. The hotel is in the process of upgrading some rooms so hopefully this problem will be overcome soon. The staff, however, were all very friendly and helpful, but obviously new and learning the ropes. We were there for an event, including a 3 course meal, which was very poor quality.

Perfectly located opposite the BIC for conferences & special events & shows, The Hermitage Hotel is also close to the gardens, Bournemouth promenade, beach & pier, a few minutes walk to the Odeon, stores & restaurants. The pleasant walk with weekend sized suitcases to the X3 Morebus Bus Station through the gardens took only 6 minutes. Staff were welcoming, helpful & professional. Our spacious sea-facing bedroom was pleasantly furnished. We were grateful to find a fan, safe & fridge in the cupboards. Furnishings were a little tired. Coffee Machine seemed to leak but not necessary. The kettle & supply of tea, coffee, sugar & milk with a few biscuits were adequate. While the breakfast was acceptable, it was disappointing compared with many other hotel breakfasts at other hotels. Very little atmosphere with so few people & only one visible member of staff. I think 4 stars for this hotel is a bit generous. Location & service are it's best features.
