I had to book an hotel due to a delayed flight and an extremely poor handling by the airline company (reputed, expensive company, booked flight directly on their website). The staff was polite, helpful. The room was clean. Complementary water, tea and coffee in the room. The hotel building and rooms are old, so there is no usb charging. It didn't bother me. Beds very comfortable. There are enough towels in the bathroom (I dislike places with only 1 bath and one hand towel because I don't want to dry my face and hair with my body or hand towel).

Easily found with the satnav. GOOD FOR PLANE WATCHING!! The car park costs £15 per day. The rooms are basic but adequate. The bathroom needs updating a bit as the fixtures and fitting were a bit temperamental. The room has tea and coffee facilities. There's a restaurant within the hotel that opens at 5pm. There's also a bar open earlier, which has indoor seating, and an outdoor terrace. From the terrace you have an excellent view of one of the runways. I would strongly suggest bringing earplugs, head phones or a large pillow. The windows are not soundproof and it's extremely difficult to sleep with planes flying close to your window late into the night. 10 minute journey by car to terminal 5, or you can use the little pod !!

We booked a room for 3 people to stay for one night as we were flying abroad the next day. The rooms are really not great at all. Jamming an extra (but shorter) bed into a 2 bed room that doesn't even fit properly, does not mean it magically then becomes a "family room". The hotel is great for the proximity to the T5 pod parking system but that's about it. The rooms are incredibly noisy from both aircraft and corridor noise.

Fine for staying a night before an early morning flight. The rooms had tea and coffee making facilities and soaps in the bathroom. The room did smell very strongly of air freshener which isn’t particularly pleasant but the room was clean enough. The restaurant and bar area has a great view of the airport runway so that’s a cool place to have a drink and the location is perfect for getting to the terminal via the pods which are very easy to use. In all, good value for money.

Great location, staff was accommodating and changed the room as we needed twin instead of double. There is a board that clearly states the different ways you can get to the airports so that is very helpful. Yes, you will notice flights taking off but it will blend in after a while and is not disturbing. Room facilities were ok, shop inside the hotel was however priced atrociously so please bring snacks unless you want to pay £7 for somw crisps.
