Great hotel and location. Staff were friendly, but service was pretty average. They forgot my order at breakfast, which meant I waited 15 minutes and had to leave to get my train. There were only two other covers in. Also gave me a bunk bed for a work trip. But did change on requesting.

Really disappointed. Firstly, there was no record of my payment from when I did the booking 3 months ago, and the receptionist tried to make me pay for a second time until I showed my bank account extract from my phone. Secondly, I was told to book the table for restaurant for the dinner and breakfast before my arrival which I did, I called 1 week before and I received an email confirmation. However, again, there was no record of my booking even though I HAD A CONFIRMATION email. So I had to change both hours of dinner and breakfast, times that were not ideal. Finally, because we arrived before the check-in time, we gave our luggage to the receptionist and came back at 3pm, they did not know where our luggage was! they told us it was in our bedroom, what it was not, we came down to reception and they reassured me that it was in fact in our bedroom when I just told them it was not, and finally they found it in a closet in the back of the hotel. I bought a package of hotel+ spa+ treatment+ dinner+ breakfast. -The suit room in the forth floor was fantastic with excellent views. -The spa was a bit small but nice but I have to say that the full body massage that I received from Victoria was the best part of the whole experience. -The dinner, excellent costumer service really polite but food absolutely not worth the money, really poor selection and overpriced. 1 salad with croutons, 3 lettuce leaves and cheese £20. -The breakfast was a semi buffet, it was fine. Drinks not included, only normal coffee with cold milk. My partner does not like coffee and he couldn't have even a hot chocolate. Overall, I will not recommend the hotel just maybe the spa experience, specially the treatment.

From start to finish everything was lovely. Excellent warm welcome by the staff at reception. Spa was excellent really megical relaxing atmosphere to unwind in. Our room was clean and well presented with a very comfortable bed. Had a meal in the evening staff were fantastic really lovely service made us feel well looked after. Breakfast was delicious and lots of options with lovely sea views. The hotel has a great atmosphere and a relaxing vibe I would definitely come again.

I booked the Relaxing Spa morning for my Daughter’s birthday present. We both enjoyed the spa experience enormously. The staff were very professional yet friendly, the Spa was beautiful, full of character features and very clean. We loved the hot tub in the old cellars, the ambience was amazing. We had plenty of time to enjoy all the facilities and felt very relaxed. As part of the package we booked bespoke back and neck massage. Both masseuses were excellent, mine was called Veronica, she was brilliant and very pleasant with it. We had lunch in the hotel restaurant afterwards, the food was good and the service was excellent.

Beautiful hotel. Was here on business. Rooms were lovely. Comfy bed and extremely clean. The only two things I would say that could be improved are the selection of food for functions and the pressure in the hydropool and hot tubs was not substantial enough. Otherwise a really good place to stay 😌
