About Venue
Colonel Saab, now open in Trafalgar Square, adds a new chapter to London's culinary diversity following our successful flagship in Holborn. We are delighted to share our passion for blending traditional Indian flavours with contemporary culinary approaches. Our menu, crafted with care, features aromatic signature plates and innovative starters, each dish reflecting our dedication to culinary excellence.
The ambiance of our Trafalgar Square location is inspired by the Choudhary family's journeys across the Indian subcontinent. Restaurateur Roop Partap Choudhary has infused the restaurant with elements reflective of both his family's heritage and the rich traditions of Indian cuisine. Guests can enjoy the elegant bar, a cosy lounge area, and a dining room adorned with beautiful Firozabad chandeliers, alongside a mezzanine level and two private dining rooms. At Colonel Saab, we strive to offer a welcoming atmosphere that complements our menu, inviting guests to enjoy a taste of India's culinary and artistic heritage in the heart of London.

Visited this restaurant a few weeks ago for our birthday. We were gifted a voucher and chose to use it at Colonel Saab. We have previously been to the Holborn branch and enjoyed it. We were served by Sagar who made the whole experience a lot smoother and pleasant. He was friendly and attentive and went out of his way to ensure all our needs were met. The restaurant has a lovely ambience, taking you back to India with the array of family photos that you must take time to explore whilst you are there. The food was amazing, very authentic. The only minor complaint was the main meal wasnt a 5/5. However we find this with most Indian restaurants as vegetarians. Would highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff.

We love Indian food and were immediately intrigued by the beautiful interior. Once we found they had a small kids menu we were sold. Our almost 7 year old loved it! The service from Sagar was top notch and the food was spectacular!! We are only in London for a week but we will likely be back before we leave. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Excellent Indian food in London! The chicken tikka and chicken curry were truly delicious. The beef was spicy—but in the best way, leaving you wanting more. The staff were friendly and attentive, making the experience even better.

Fantastic food and even better service by our waiter, Deepak. Nothing seems too much trouble for him. one of our party has nut allergy he was able to provide detailed advice on suitability of different foods and even provided detailed list of allergens for each disc. Going above and beyond really made our evening
