About Venue
A doubled-head tribute to two of the locale’s most famous sons, The Owl & Hitchhiker takes Edward Lear and Douglas Adams’ alternative world views of science and nonsense and slams them together through an infinite improbability drive. The result is a lively London boozer where you can ponder the meaning of life, the universe and everything.

What a charming place in the middle of the forest. The magical firs on the back of the bar are just giving more to the atmosphere. We have some nibbles to eat and they were good. Some beer to drink and that was good too. Great oasis in the forest to gather your strengths for more hicking.

This pub is set in a stunning location surrounded by lush greenery—an ideal spot to relax on a hot day. It’s also kid-friendly, though the playground could use some maintenance. That said, children still manage to enjoy themselves. The only downside for me is the food, which didn’t quite meet my expectations, though others may feel differently.
