Reception was fantastic when we had a booking issue (via Expedia). Thank you so much for being so understanding and helpful. Rooms and breakfast were great. Very convenient to Utilita Area (round corner) and centre of Newcastle (10/15 min walk). We parked at Times Square - £15 for 24hrs.

I would 10000% stay here again. The staff were unbelievably friendly, not just with myself but with each other too which made for a lovely environment. The staff member at reception was kind enough to offer me a free breakfast which was so nice and appreciated. The room was cozy, spacious and the bed was huge! One of the best nights sleeps I’ve had in a while. Honestly can’t wait to stay here again.

Brilliant experience. Booked to take my partner as a surprise for their birthday, not only did the manager give us 2 birthday drinks vouchers but he upgraded our room too. Brian the manager was the best image for customer services, chatted and showed us amazing card tricks when wishing my partner a happy birthday. Couldn’t have asked for more and I’m very glad I choose this hotel. Ideal location for a short walk into town for food and entertainment. Even on a match day we were far enough away from the crowds but close enough to get to the pubs and restaurants 10/10 will return!

We had a nice stay (all though we accidentally booked at the wrong location in Newcastle). The reception staff was extremely friendly and interested in helping us. The room is dated, but comfortable, bathroom is nice, the shower feels like a hose-down, and the amount of water cannot be controlled, only the temperature. An in-room safe would have been a nice touch.

A real mix of positives and negatives. On the plus side, the staff were friendly and helpful. The bar and reception areas were clean, modern, and gave a good first impression. Unfortunately, that standard didn’t carry through to the rest of the hotel. The breakfast room and bedrooms felt very tired and in need of refurbishment. The breakfast itself wasn’t great either. My room hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly, with visible dust and a general sense that it hadn’t been properly refreshed between guests. Most concerning was the smoke alarm in my room, which had been stuffed with tissue, presumably to disable it for smoking. This should have been noticed and removed by the hotel as it is a serious safety concern. The surrounding area also felt quite run down, which detracted from the overall experience. Whilst the staff did their best, the hotel would really benefit from some investment and attention to detail to bring it up to the standard its public areas suggest.
