About Venue

Located in Skipton, the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, and sitting alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal, the 96-bedroom Rendezvous Hotel can cater from four to 400 people. We have many years’ experience in organising a full range of events, from gala dinners to black-tie balls, from dinner dances to product launches, and from AGMs to company fun days. However, while space and experience are important, we also understand that you need the confidence and reassurance that your chosen venue always has everything in hand. At the Rendezvous, from the very start, and throughout the event itself, you will have one of our managers working with you, giving you that much needed peace of mind.

The Malham Suite, the largest conference facility, is a spacious room seating up to 400 delegates in theatre or 150 in a classroom layout. Versatile and bright, the suites has high ceilings perfect for back projection and set building. The Malham Suite is ideal for large meetings and conferences, reception buffets, banquets & dinner dances.

Just a little out of town so nice and quiet. Lovely canal walks to the back of the hotel. Food was really good and definitely value for money. Pet friendly. Would definitely stay again.

Afternoon Tea - I took my Mum for her 85th Birthday. I had read the reviews of afternoon tea and didn't know what to expect, as some were good and some were poor. Which you do get on reviews. The whole experience was lovely, from the moment we walked into the hotel we were looked after. The staff were polite, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were seated in the conservatory restaurant and had beautiful views of the canal and beyond. The food was well presented and a nice choice of sandwiches. If we had needed it, all dietary requirements were catered for. The sandwiches were beautiful cut, the quiche and sausage rolls were warm and delicious. The was three different cakes, each just the right amount and cut and presented nicely. There were scones, jam, clotted cream and fresh strawberries. The strawberries and clotted cream were very fresh and the jam was good. The only thing I would say is the scones were done a little too long in the oven as they were crunchy on the outside, but edible and slightly sweet as they had icing sugar on. Not something we are used to. Our scones are soft and freshly made, but I must add the scones were good to eat but not what I would expect on an afternoon tea. Overall, we could not fault it, the food, scenery, hotel atmosphere and friendly staff made it an enjoyable 2 hours. Thank you Skipton Hotel.

Stayed here in room 507 for one night with my partner Reception area is clean and we were welcomed warmly by the receptionist . The corridors are dated in fact the hotel is stuck in the 70s and needs a refurbishment Our room was also very dated allthough it was clean as was the bathroom We used the pool which was small again in dire need of a refit Robes weren’t provided so we walked down to get changed they couldn’t provide us with pad locks for the lockers and said we could use the hooks by the pool for our clothes 🤷‍♀️there were only three and they were full we had no option but to leave our stuff on the floor 🤷‍♀️ We had breakfast the next morning definitely not worth £17 The conservatory is lovely and it was nice to eat breakfast overlooking the canal Sorry but wouldn’t stay here again
