About Venue
Located in Skipton, the ‘Gateway to the Dales’, and sitting alongside the Leeds Liverpool Canal, the 96-bedroom Rendezvous Hotel can cater from four to 400 people. We have many years’ experience in organising a full range of events, from gala dinners to black-tie balls, from dinner dances to product launches, and from AGMs to company fun days. However, while space and experience are important, we also understand that you need the confidence and reassurance that your chosen venue always has everything in hand. At the Rendezvous, from the very start, and throughout the event itself, you will have one of our managers working with you, giving you that much needed peace of mind.
Named after the beautiful district of Wharfedale which includes fascinating places such as Bolton Abbey & Priory. One of our most popular meeting rooms in the hotel due to it’s close proximity to our hospitality lounge. A flexible working space, the perfect room for your event.

My wife and myself stayed here in October for a weekend break. We had free use of the gym and pool which was a really nice bonus. The receptionist Sharon was extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is first class with both continental and cooked English. We will definitely be back!

Nice 2 day break away. Sauna not working or the jacuzi. Spa needs a bit of tlc. Swimming pool a nice size and steam room ok. Restaurant in a beatiful location overlooking the canal. Even though it was dark and cold outside you could still sit in conservatory and enjoy looking out. Even the swans swim up and down in the lights. Room a lovely size with views out across the hills and a nice size walk in shower. Nice bar and a big lounge to sit and relax in. Good value for money. Will definatly return

We booked a family room as our daughter is disabled and in a wheelchair, when given our room the bathroom was not wheelchair friendly, the door would not shut as loose hinges and door handle came off in my hand, 1 screw in it. Management were great, moved us into a different room that was perfect for our needs. The bar area was nice and location not too bad, about 1.5 miles from Skipton Town centre.

The hotel is in a great setting, and with Skipton being an up-and-coming area, the bottomless brunch is a brilliant idea to bring people in. Unfortunately, the execution fell short. Despite the good atmosphere, the service was slow, and drinks weren’t served during food service, which left us feeling short-changed. Two pints of lager over the whole bottomless period is not adequate, and serving a bottle to the table right before the end — only to refuse more because the time had just finished — felt unfair. The staff’s attitude when we raised concerns was dismissive rather than helpful. Facilities also need attention; there were only two toilets, one of which was blocked, causing long queues. Overall, the location and concept are great, but the service, organisation, and customer care need significant improvement for the experience to match the setting.
