If you've got a penchant for gorgeous greenery, you'll absolutely love The Botanist in Cheltenham. One of the coolest places to eat in the UK, the dreamy restaurant bar boasts hanging plants, leather banquettes and ambient lighting - the ideal setting for a cute date night or catch-up with friends.
Offering an extensive range of beer, ale, wine and gin, the venue also knocks up some tantalising tipples. We mean everything from strawberry and elderflower mojitos to Hawaiian rum punch and a boozy lemonade. Crack on with Scotch bonnet chicken wings and an ooey gooey truffle camembert to start, followed by an array of delicious mains to choose from. We recommend trying one of their signature hanging kebabs if you fancy an Instagrammble food moment.
Only 1 mile away from Cheltenham Race course!
The perfect space for dinning, conference, casual networking to the intimate private party for friends to launches. Available in multi seated settings with screens, a projector, access to the terrace and a bespoke private bar in the heart of Cheltenham.

We went here for a 21st birthday on a Saturday afternoon. The place looks amazing inside and is huge. We were there for the food, really, so all the fancy cocktails they do were wasted on me. The staff were very friendly and helpful. To be honest, I think the food menu is a bit limited, and some things are more expensive than expected. I had fish and chips for £15.50 which is quite a dear considering what it is. However, apart from that, I can't fault the place. I imagine it's a trendy place for the younger crowd, hence why we had a 21st birthday meal there. Kids get a free pudding when selecting from the children's menu. Mind you. the brownie did look very small. Nevertheless, it's a great place for group meals and to celebrate special occasions. The younger generation seem to like it. Definitely worth a visit.
