Located on the ground floor and first floor of the Elms Field development in the centre of Wokingham, Everyman is set to draw people to a new destination for the town.
Customers enter at ground floor level under a festoon canopy and through a modest sized entrance, lined with rich timber panelling and velvet curtains. Winding up the double height staircase to the first floor, the walls feature collaged artwork by Jack Murray, drawing on 90s film references. The first floor bar and lounge space is flooded with natural light with full height windows wrapping around and offering calm views across Elms Field. The bar space balances warm and rich tones against raw concrete walls to create on overall luxurious feel with an abundance of velvet covered sofas and banquette seating. The semi-open kitchen serve the full range of delicious burgers, pizzas and hotdogs from the Spielburger menu.
Up a short staircase from the bar leads to the auditorium level where there are 3 varying sized auditoriums, ranging from a 72 seater and topped by a grand 134 seater, each differing in style but all with luxurious velvet arm chair and sofa seating and tactile fabric lined walls that Everyman is known for.

T&C's + You will be invoiced upon agreement of booking details and confirmed upon receipt of 50% deposit payment. + We require full payment at least 4 weeks prior to the event or we reserve the right to cancel. + Our cancellation policy is 2 weeks prior to your event; any amendments after this time must still meet the agreed spend. + Bar Tabs and pre-ordered items are included in the agreed spend for the hire and must therefore be used on the day and cannot be refunded or used at another time. + All prices are inclusive of VAT. + All proposals are valid for 7 working days. + All pre-orders and any film choices must be received 2 weeks prior to booking. + All films must be the correct certificate for all attendees. + A minimum of one adult must be present for the entire duration for every 10 children. + Please be aware that face-paints, party-poppers, confetti or similar products will not be allowed in the venue. Damage to the screening rooms will result in extra fees. + All food and drink consumed on site must be purchased from Everyman, if you do wish to provide your own food or use an outside caterer, please discuss further with the private hire team. We make an exception for birthday cakes but ask that you provide cake knives and disposable plates. + no tickets can be sold to any private event without the prior agreement of EMG ltd.

While the screens may not be as expansive and the speakers as booming, the allure of plush sofas coupled with in-seat food and drink service creates an immersive and captivating atmosphere that keeps audiences engrossed in the film. The staff consistently exude friendliness and demonstrate a genuine passion for film. They eagerly share insights on upcoming releases, productions in progress, and industry rumors, enhancing the overall experience for patrons. In summary, Everyman offers great films, a captivating atmosphere, friendly staff, and delectable food options, making it a preferred choice for cinema enthusiasts.

January 2024This was my first visit to Everyman, Wokingham. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Seating amazing. Loved it. The only Downside was a pervasive smell throughout, including in the cinema, of rancid oil presumably from cooking chips etc. Would be useful to install or use extractor fans and change oil.

December 2023I really wanted to give a positive review. We had been really looking forward to viewing a film at Everyman as we’d heard such great things. Unfortunately, that was dashed by the staff upon our visit. We wanted to get some drinks from the bar ahead of going in to see one of the films on show. The barman said he had to go through the drinks he already had on order before he could serve us even though all of them were for people already sat watching films. Surely serving the customers in front of you is higher priority over those of customers who are already sat down. Disappointed we left to go to our seats hoping we could order quite quickly. We managed to order 20 minutes later after multiple staff told us that they couldn’t help us. The facilities at Everyman are great. We were seriously let down by the staff looking after us. Would I come again? Yes, but I would try to ensure I wasn’t reliant on the staff on the night.
