A lovely gem inside the busy London!!! The staff member are always there to help answer questions and this place was such a lovely way to spend the weekend. The price was a little steep as a student but I loved the extensive wetlands and being able to see so much wildlife. It could be nice to state at the entrance what kind of birds we might be able to see on the day so we can look forward to finding them. It was a bit of a trek to get to with public transport I fully enjoyed it :)!

Amazing jewel in the city and beautiful wildlife. The various hides across the site allow for many good vantage points to watch the birds. I got to witness a Marsh Harrier hunting for the first time from the Peacock Tower Hide, which the the highlight of my day. Lovely onsite cafe for coffees, lunch and cakes. Also free parking for members which was a huge bonus to my membership.

A great day out for adults and children alike. We loved seeing the birds and water creatures, especially the otters. The pond dipping activity was great fun. The kids loved finding newts, snails and fish. The playground was great fun for children of all ages. We all loved the water-play. The bridge that dips just under the water was a firm favourite too. If you haven't been, you really should go.

Excellent for children (and bird lovers outside of holidays!) We were drawn here by the current Lego trail which was suitably fun but we discovered what i would argue is one of the best playgrounds in country (bring a towel and swimmers!) We also enjoyed pond dipping and running through around the wild walk. An extremely full day without even mentioning all the lovely ducks geese and birds that call it their home. Well done WWT.
