Edgbaston Park Hotel and Conference Centre is part of the University of Birmingham Group. Conveniently located just two miles from Birmingham city centre, it’s only a six-minute train journey from Birmingham New Street to University station. It’s then a 15-minute stroll to the hotel through leafy Edgbaston. If you’re driving, you’ll find free car parking on site.

The bright, contemporary hotel and conference centre are framed by two charming, historic buildings. Garth House is Grade II-listed, and has been beautifully restored in period style as a luxury hotel. Hornton Grange, built in 1928, has been transformed into a boutique hotel with bespoke décor that compliments the character and history of the building.

Together, they offer a wide variety of luxury rooms, bespoke dining options and special event spaces. For conferences, the spacious meeting rooms in the conference centre provide flexible, well-equipped venues for groups of all sizes.

This room is situated in Garth House, one of our Grade-II listed buildings. This space includes character lighting, extended seating by a lovely fireplace and a door which leads straight outside onto the beautiful grounds – it's perfect for those looking for something bespoke.

Stayed at the Peter Scott house for three nights with my husband. It was perfect, and an ideal base for the hospital. The room was very clean, bathroom a little dated but still very clean. Had breakfast across the road, a 2 minute walk, in Edgbaston Park Hotel. Breakfast was superb, lots of choice. Had our evening meal in the bar, once again excellent food. All the staff we met were really lovely and helpful especially a young man on reception called Dimarkle (not sure if correct spelling), queried booking a room in the future, he took me over the road to see the apartments they have. Showed me around and made sure I got back to Peter Scott House safely. He’s a credit to the hotel. He went above and beyond, which means we will definitely return. Highly recommend.

I stayed here recently whilst attending a friend’s birthday. Great location with beautiful surroundings. Very easy to get into central Birmingham and back. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Interior of hotel/bar/restaurant was modern and very appealing. Breakfast was amazing!! Enjoyed a leisurely child free breakfast with friends very much! Would definitely look to stay here again.

The staff made us feel at home at every moment during check-in --and the whole stay. Travelling with pets is challenging and they were all lovely. We did not know anything about the hotel, and it turned out to be a hidden gem in the middle of the University of Birmingham. We had a lot of restaurants within walking distance.

Lovely hitel. Stayed with my daughter so she could attend Birmingham University day. Lovely clean rooms and staff were friendly and helpful. Had a meal in the bar which was a bit pricey but nice food. Would definitely stay again.
