Absolutely lovely hotel, everything was quality. I have a disability and a couple of times members of staff asked if I needed help with carrying food and drinks. Always genuine service. The food was so yummy 😋. Rooms very modern and immaculate. Definitely would return here or recommend it.

I attended this venue for a 1 day event, and for my first visit here I was not disappointed. It was easy to find using google maps. Everywhere was spotlessly clean inside and out, from the car park to the communal facilities. The staff were also attentive during lunch without being intrusive. Overall a great day visit, thank you

Came for a conference and spent a night. Very comfortable stay. Extremely convienent as conference was held in the hotel. Staff were very helpful and polite. Had dinner at the restaurant with friends. Our main course was very good but the sticky toffee pudding let the side down.

I have been coming here for the last 3 weeks due to work commitments and I am very impressed with this hotel. It is immaculately clean, the bedrooms so comfortable, beds amazing to sleep on, cannot fault it. Having had pretty much all my meals in this hotel every night I have stayed, the service and friendliness of the staff at the bar have been amazing, the food, great. They are a credit to you! However, the only reason I am giving you 4 stars for service is due to the lack of friendliness in your restaurant. I thought I would try it there tonight, as the bar was filled with conference delegates and was very noisy....so I thought I would escape the noise and dine in the restaurant. Much to my surprise, the staff member was not friendly, and gave me no choice on where to sit....the restaurant was almost empty. She seated me near the entrance initially, and I explained it was very noisy from the bar, so she moved me to a table a fraction away from a couple that was talking non-stop when all I wanted was a quiet space. I saw another waitress usher in a single guest like myself and gave her a choice of where she wanted to sit. Consequently, my space felt invaded and I left the restaurant, and told the waitress I did not wish to eat here. Apart from that small glitch, I believe you have a fabulous hotel, and it would not stop me coming back, which I will be returning again next week and the week after. Thanks for a comfortable stay! Decent enough hotel. It’s a solid 3. Parking is a bit limited but there’s a nearby multi-storey. Hotel feels newish and functional. Good sized bar and well located. Some annoying quirks to the hotel eg you have to walk through the whole bar to get to the lift for the bedrooms? Plus it’s a 4 star hotel but the on-site gym is a mile walk!?!. That aside it’s decent but without being outstanding. If I wanted a cheap hotel no frills near Birmingham city centre I might be tempted but nothing to write home about. My conclusion is that it feels like a hotel run by a University as an add on to generate income and therefore not run by people who run hotels for a living.
