Very impressed with this hotel, all the staff are very professional and they are very willing to help. Our King room on the 5th floor (which has recently been refurbished) was spotlessly clean, with everything you need for a comfortable stay, the bed was huge and very comfortable, we slept very well. On our first night, we had a few drinks in the bar, ALEENA provided excellent service, and always with a smile, nothing was too much trouble. Today we had lunch in the Artful Critic restaurant. The menu is good, prices are reasonable, the food was very fresh & tasty. We were served by ATHIRA who provided excellent service, from taking our order, checking that we were enjoying the meal, and taking payment for the bill. She has a lovely warm personality with a beautiful friendly smile, she is a credit to the hotel. We are looking forward to the rest of our stay and would definitely stay here again.

I've stayed here over many years, this time in a recently refurbished top floor premium room. The refurbishment is great, a big improvement. The walk in rain shower was excellent, new beds and furnishings are really good, and the decor much more welcoming. My only real issue is that the windows should have been replaced or refurbished as they are showing their age for instance with worn catches. As always, all staff I dealt with were friendly and efficient. The cleaning staff on my floor welcomed me every day and asked if the room was OK. A great location for me too, so I'll be back!

I travel extensively with the IHG group, and this is one of the best hotels I have stayed at. Forget first impressions: the exterior of the hotel looks like a ‘60s Communist apartment block! Inside has been extensively renovated, and looks like a high quality boutique hotel. The location is premium: it’s one short block from Russell Square tube on the Piccadilly line, putting it on the same line as Heathrow Airport, Knightsbridge (Harrods), Piccadilly Circus, Covent Garden and King’s Cross (for trains north and Eurostar). It’s by the British Museum, too. The hotel is next to a small mall with a Waitrose selling all kinds of food, candies and alcohol. The area is very safe. The rooms are premium with towel dressing gowns and slippers, and (thank you!) real glass and not the plastic beakers normally offered. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and remember your orders and drinks after one evening (I was there for 5 nights). Room service was similarly efficient and friendly, with my room being made up while I was at breakfast each day. The room offers a safe and fridge, and plenty of points including both USB A and C. Breakfast offered an immense range of choices, and eggs are cooked to order. There is also a restaurant and bar which are very reasonably priced. All this at an incredibly reasonable price for central London!

I had a fantastic stay at this Holiday Inn! The rooms have been recently refurbished in a beautiful Scandinavian style—super clean lines and a really calming vibe. There was lots of space to move around, which is a rare find in London, and the amazing bed made for a perfect night's sleep. What really made the trip, though, was the atmosphere. It’s full of very comfortable people, and the staff are incredibly cool and helpful. A huge shoutout to Sheila a in particular—she was absolute magic and made me feel right at home. Highly recommended!
