What’s included in the venue hire price?

Exclusive use of this elegant first-floor room with views of Dean’s Yard and Westminster Abbey, set to your preferred layout (e.g. boardroom for 16 or intimate dining). Wi-Fi and built-in AV (drop-down screen and projector) are included, along with the room’s period features and access to an antechamber for discreet arrivals or mingling.

Does the venue provide catering, or can I bring my own food and drinks?

All catering is provided in-house, from barista coffee breaks to private dinners, delivered with minimal disruption to your meeting. Outside food and drink aren’t permitted (to protect our Grade II listed setting), but our chefs can tailor menus and dietary requirements.

Can I decorate or brand the venue for my event?

Subtle branding and décor are welcome, ogo signage at the door, branded stationery, slide templates, linens, or floral centrepieces. Please avoid adhesives or fixings on walls to preserve historic finishes.

Is the venue accessible, and does it have parking or nearby transport links?

The room is accessible by lift and can be arranged for wheelchair users; furniture is fully movable. We’re a short walk from major Westminster transport links; there’s no on-site parking, but metered bays (free after 6:30pm) and nearby car parks are available.

What is the venue’s pricing structure e.g. minimum spend, dry hire, or package options?

Hire is typically a straightforward room fee with catering added as ordered; there’s no minimum spend. As a guide, you might pay around £700 + VAT for a half-day or a similar figure for an evening, with favourable bundling if booked alongside a larger hall; delegate packages can also be arranged.

Behind an archway in Dean's Yard sits a Grade II listed building where Churchill once addressed a wartime Parliament, and where recent receptions have marked a Coronation and a State Funeral. Architect Sir Herbert Baker's glass-domed hall anchors nineteen genuinely flexible spaces, each shaped by centuries of history and modern thinking. Our in-house events, catering and AV teams, named Best Conference Venue at the London Venue & Catering Awards 2024, bring contemporary production and decades of expertise to every corporate event.

Often used for smaller meetings, our Charter Room is located on the first floor and overlooks Dean's Yard and Westminster Abbey. With its elegant style, it can be used for private meetings, intimate dinners and interview sessions or be hired as an additional space for larger conferences.

If more than 7 days before event start date, 90% of room hire fee if rooms are not re-sold or £50+VAT admin fee less deposits paid; 1-6 days before event start date, 100% of room hire fee plus 100% of catering less deposits paid if rooms are not re-sold, or £50+VAT plus 100% catering less payment for any beverages and less deposits paid.
