What’s included in the venue hire price?

A compact, private 15 m² room for up to 8, set as boardroom or cozy green room. Wall-mounted presentation screen, conference phone, Wi-Fi and flipchart/stationery are included.

Does the venue provide catering, or can I bring my own food and drinks?

In-house refreshments (coffee/tea, light bites) or a more substantial VIP lunch on request. External food/drink isn’t used; service is delivered to the room.

Can I decorate or brand the venue for my event?

Light-touch only, door signage, a pop-up banner, branded pads. The classic décor does most of the work; the team can swap a portrait for your logo board if needed.

Is the venue accessible, and what about transport?

Lift access to the first floor; fully accessible routes. Excellent Westminster transport links; public parking limited, taxis/tube recommended.

What’s the pricing structure?

Often included as an add-on to larger hires; standalone dry hire from ~£540/day or a few hundred pounds for half-/full-day, with catering as used.

About Venue

Behind an archway in Dean's Yard sits a Grade II listed building where Churchill once addressed a wartime Parliament, and where recent receptions have marked a Coronation and a State Funeral. Architect Sir Herbert Baker's glass-domed hall anchors nineteen genuinely flexible spaces, each shaped by centuries of history and modern thinking. Our in-house events, catering and AV teams, named Best Conference Venue at the London Venue & Catering Awards 2024, bring contemporary production and decades of expertise to every corporate event.

Located on the first floor, next to the Convocation Hall, our College Room is often used in conjunction with larger spaces. Its intimate size makes it a suitable green room for speakers or an organiser's office. It can also accommodate small meetings.

If more than 7 days before event start date, 90% of room hire fee if rooms are not re-sold or £50+VAT admin fee less deposits paid; 1-6 days before event start date, 100% of room hire fee plus 100% of catering less deposits paid if rooms are not re-sold, or £50+VAT plus 100% catering less payment for any beverages and less deposits paid.
