Does the venue provide catering, or can I bring my own food and drinks?

All catering is delivered in-house, from working breakfasts to canapé receptions, served in-room or just outside. External caterers aren’t permitted.

Can I decorate or brand the venue for my event?

The neutral, light-filled space takes branding well, use screen logos, pop-up banners, window decals, or uplighting. Adjacent rooms can carry additional wayfinding, registration, or sponsor branding; we’ll coordinate safe installation around the leaded windows.

Is the venue accessible, and does it have parking or nearby transport links?

The Westminster Room offers step-free, level access and is simple to navigate for wheelchair users. We’re moments from Westminster, Victoria, and St James’s Park stations; no on-site parking, but evening street parking and nearby car parks are available.

What is the venue’s pricing structure e.g. minimum spend, dry hire, or package options?

Hire is typically by session or day, roughly £1,000–£1,500 + VAT for a full day, with value bundles when adding adjacent rooms. There’s no minimum spend; catering is added as ordered, and conference day-delegate rates (~£65pp including room, lunch, and refreshments) are available.

Behind an archway in Dean's Yard sits a Grade II listed building where Churchill once addressed a wartime Parliament, and where recent receptions have marked a Coronation and a State Funeral. Architect Sir Herbert Baker's glass-domed hall anchors nineteen genuinely flexible spaces, each shaped by centuries of history and modern thinking. Our in-house events, catering and AV teams, named Best Conference Venue at the London Venue & Catering Awards 2024, bring contemporary production and decades of expertise to every corporate event.

Situated on the ground floor overlooking Dean's Yard and Westminster Abbey, the versatile Westminster Room serves as both a breakout space adjacent to the Abbey and Herbert Baker Rooms and a standalone venue ideal for hosting boardroom meetings, intimate dinners, receptions, interviews, training sessions, and smaller conferences and workshops.

If more than 7 days before event start date, 90% of room hire fee if rooms are not re-sold or £50+VAT admin fee less deposits paid; 1-6 days before event start date, 100% of room hire fee plus 100% of catering less deposits paid if rooms are not re-sold, or £50+VAT plus 100% catering less payment for any beverages and less deposits paid.
